Hello and Welcome! We are glad that you have visited the home website of Powells Point Christian Church in scenic Harbinger, NC. Outstanding beauty, wonderful climate, and friendly people make Currituck County a perfect place to work, play, stay and worship. With the charm of a quaint vacation paradise of pristine beaches, historical landmarks, outdoor recreation, and a variety of restaurants, shops, and antique stores, Currituck welcomes guests. However, much more inviting are the people of this community! This website was created to give you a glance and an insight into this Christian community we know as Powells Point Christian Church. Founded in 1879, our facility boasts a warm sanctuary and a fellowship hall where many meetings are held and memories are shared. Even more inviting, are the people of Powells Point Christian Church. Come and get acquainted.

As you prepare for your next visit, we hope that this site will give you an understanding of the church that we seek to be through Jesus Christ our Lord as we worship, participate in study groups, fellowship, prayer, and outreach. Powells Point Christian Church is located in the rural farming and fishing community of Harbinger, NC, on the Currituck County peninsula. The church is just minutes from the popular North Carolina Outer Banks vacationland beaches. Members come from Currituck and Dare Counties. Powells Point is a friendly church that welcomes visitors. A nursery and children's church is provided. The Lord's Supper is served each Sunday. Powells Point Christian Church; where every member is a Minister, gathered here since 1879.

As a restoration movement congregation, we have no creed but the Bible...where the Bible speaks, we speak; where the Bible is silent, we are silent.
